Have you been sharing the recipes with your family and friends? Do your kids love them? I share mine with my husband and my son, which is why the recipes I come up with tend to make about 2 cups. So they are family friendly recipes.
It's already 10 days of Raw food. Can you believe it? In only 4 days we shall be at the 2nd milestone and the 14th day of eating only Raw, immune boosting, food.
Let's get some more energy packed food shall we:
Day 10 recipes:
What you would need:
1. Time – obviously
2. A high speed blender or a smoothie maker
3. A chopping board (optional)
4. Knives (optional)
5. Water
6. Apple cider vinegar (to wash fruits and vegetables. See: ‘30-Day Juice Fast: Day 1- Mind Prep!’ post sent on 28th of Feb. 2013 for veggie washer recipe.)
Fruits and Veggies needed for the day: 10 cups of leafy greens, 2 slices of lemon, 2 bananas, 2 inches of ginger, 1 avocado pears, and 2 cups of pineapple, 3 pink grapefruits, 2 cups of mangoes, 3 cups of filtered water, 3 cups of orange juice, 2 cups of fresh corn, 2 cups of mangoes, 1 teaspoon of lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of raw honey.
Recipes:
7 am
A glass of pink grapefruit (3 medium sized grapefruits should make you a glass with some to share).
8am and 11am
C Smoothie:
5 cups of leafy greens (pumpkin leaf, spinach, water leaf, or any green leaves of your choosing would do. Avoid really bitter types.), 1 banana, 1 cup of orange juice, 1/2 a cup of water and 1 inch slice of ginger.
Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender or a smoothie maker. Blend until smooth.
1pm
Creamy corn smoothie:
2 cups of fresh corn ( 3 medium sized maize cobs should yield about 2 cups of corn), the flesh of 1 avocado pear, 2 cups of orange juice and 1 banana.

Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
3pm
PineGreen Smoothie:
5 cups of leafy greens (pumpkin leaf, spinach, water leaf, or any green leaves of your choosing would do. Avoid really bitter types.), 1 teaspoon of lime juice, 2 cups of peeled & chopped pineapple, and 1 inch of ginger.
Toss all in a high speed blender or smoothie maker and blend until smooth.
5pm
PM Mango swirl:
2 cups of chopped frozen mangoes, 1 cup of water (Preferably filtered water), and 1 table spoon of raw honey (optional).
Toss frozen mangoes, water and honey into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
7pm
PM detox:
A warm glass or water with lemon slices.
