30-day Raw Food Fast: Day 15

Hi RawSters! We are officially on the half-way mark. It's time to step it up a notch. Stay focused. Stay Motivated. You deserve this time of detox.
 

Day 15 recipes: 

What you would need:
1.   Time – obviously
2.   A high speed blender or a smoothie maker
3.   A chopping board (optional)
4.   Knives (optional)
5.   Water
6.   Apple cider vinegar (to wash fruits and vegetables. See: ‘30-Day Juice Fast: Day 1- Mind Prep!’ post sent on 28th of Feb. 2013 for veggie washer recipe.)


Fruits and Veggies needed for the day: 4 cups of spinach or leafy greens of your choosing, 1 medium sized lemon, 3 bananas, 1 inch of ginger, 1 cup of maize, 2 cups of chopped cucumber, 1/2 a cup of chopped sweet potatoes, 2  carrots, 2 cups of grapes, 2 cups of apples, 3 pink grapefruits, 1 tablespoonful of extra virgin olive oil, 1 handful of nuts (peanuts, cashew nuts, almonds or one of your choosing), 1 cup of water and 2 cups of pineapple.

Recipes:
7 am
Warm water with 3 slices of Lemon.

8am and 11am
Tori Smoothie twist:
1 banana, 4 handfuls of spinach, 2 cups of grapes,  1 tablespoonful of lemon juice, and 1 inch of ginger. 

Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender or a smoothie maker. Blend until smooth.

1pm
made for maize smoothie:
1 cup of raw maize, 2 bananas, 1/2 a cup of green apples and 1 cup of pineapple. 
( You may add some water if you prefer it runnier.)

Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

3pm
PM snack:
3 pink grapefruits. Use a citrus juicer to extract Juice. You can snack on a handful of almonds, peanuts or cashew nuts.

5pm
Salad 2:
2 carrots (shredded), 1 cup of chopped yellow bell peppers, 1 cup of chopped cucumber, 1 cup of chopped apples, and 1 table spoon(TBSP) of extra virgin olive oil.

Toss all ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir. 

7pm
PM step-down:
1 cup of pineapple, 1 cup of cucumber, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Toss into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
