30-day Raw Food Fast

Day 2 recipes

What you would need:
1.  Time – obviously
2.  A high speed blender or a smoothie maker
3.  Apple cider vinegar (to wash fruits and vegetables. See: ‘30-Day Juice Fast: Day 1- Mind Prep!’ post sent on 28th of Feb. 2013 for veggie washer recipe.)

You would also need flasks and bowls to take some of these recipes to work etc.


Fruits and Veggies needed for the day: 5 cups of leafy greens, I medium sized lemon, 3 oranges, 4 inches of ginger, 1 cup of carrot, a handful of either almonds, peanuts or cashew nuts, 6 inches of cucumber, 2 cups of mangoes, I avocado pear, 2 cups of pineapple, 3 cups of watermelon, 1 cup of sweet potato, 1 cup of papaya, and 3 pink grapefruits.

Recipes:
7 am
Warm water with 2 slices of Lemon.

8am and 11am
Wake-up Smoothie:
3 cups of water melon, 2 cups of mango, 3 cups of leafy green (pumpkin leaf or green leaves or spinach), the flesh of 1 avocado pear and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.

Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender or a smoothie maker. Blend until smooth.

1pm
Carotene heaven smoothie:
1 cup of chopped sweet potatoes, I cup of chopped carrots, 1 cup of chopped papaya (paw paw), 2 inches of ginger, and 3 cups of fresh orange juice (juice of about 9 oranges).

Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth!

3pm
Green Garana Smoothie:
2 cups of leafy green, 5 inches of cucumber, the flesh of 1 avocado pear, 1 cup of peeled & chopped pineapple, and 1 inch of ginger.

Toss all in a high speed blender or smoothie maker and blend until smooth.

5pm
PM snack:
3 pink grapefruits. Use a citrus juicer to extract Juice. You can snack on a handful of almonds, peanuts or cashew nuts.

7pm
PM step-down:
1 cup of pineapple, 1 cup of cucumber, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Toss into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
