Day 23 recipes:
What you would need:
1. Time – obviously
2. A high speed blender or a smoothie maker
3. Apple cider vinegar (to wash fruits and vegetables. See: ‘30-Day Juice Fast: Day 1- Mind Prep!’ post sent on 28th of Feb. 2013 for veggie washer recipe.)
You would also need flasks and bowls to take some of these recipes to work etc.
Fruits and Veggies needed for the day: 7 cups of leafy greens, 1 medium sized lemon, 2 cups of oranges, 2 inches of ginger, a handful of either almonds, peanuts or cashew nuts, 1 cup of cucumber, 3 avocado pears, 1 cup of pineapple, 3 bananas, 4 cups of grapes, 1 cup of green bell pepper and 3 pink grapefruits.
Am Detox
A mug of warm water and 2 lemon slices.
8am and 11am
Green wake shake:
4 handfuls of spinach or any leafy green of your choosing, 1 cup of chopped green bell pepper, 1 cup of cucumber, the flesh of 1 avocado pear, 4 cups of grapes and 1 inch of ginger.
Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender or a smoothie maker. Blend until smooth.
1pm
Green Banana Smoothie:
3 cups of leafy greens, the flesh of 1 avocado pear, 1 banana, 1 cup of peeled & chopped pineapple, and 1 inch of ginger.
Toss all in a high speed blender or smoothie maker and blend until smooth.
3pm
Bora Barana:
2 bananas, the flesh of 1 avocado pear, 2 cups of orange juiceBora Barana:
Toss all in a high speed blender or smoothie maker and blend until smooth.
5pm
PM Detox
2 cups of warm water with lemon slices
7pm
PM snack:
3 pink grapefruits. Use a citrus juicer to extract Juice. You can snack on a handful of almonds, peanuts or cashew nuts.
