What you would need:
1. Time – obviously
2. A high speed blender or a smoothie maker
3. Apple cider vinegar (to wash fruits and vegetables. See: ‘30-Day Juice Fast: Day 1- Mind Prep!’ post sent on 28th of Feb. 2013 for veggie washer recipe.)
You would also need flasks and bowls to take some of these recipes to work etc.
Fruits and Veggies needed for the day: 1 cup of leafy greens, I medium sized lemon, 3 oranges, 2 inches of ginger, 1 cup of carrot, a handful of either almonds, peanuts or cashew nuts, 1 cup of cucumber,1 cup of mango, 2 cups of pineapple, 5 cups of watermelon, 1 cup of sweet potato, 2 cups of papaya, 3 oranges, 2 cups of filtered water or 1 cup of coconut water, 2 limes and 3 pink grapefruits.
Recipes:
7 am
Warm water with 2 slices of Lemon.
8am and 11am
Tropical Smoothie:
1 cup of mango, 1 cup of green leafy vegetable (Pumpkin leaf or Spinach), 1 cup of Coconut water ( water you find when you crack a coconut open.) or 2 cups of filtered Water.
Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender or a smoothie maker. Blend until smooth.
1pm
Carotene heaven smoothie:
1 cup of chopped sweet potatoes, I cup of chopped carrots, 1 cup of chopped papaya (paw paw), 2 inches of ginger, and 1 cup of fresh orange juice (juice of about 3 oranges).
Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth!
3pm
Papaya Smoothie:
1 cup of Papaya, 5 cups of watermelon, the juice of 2 limes.
Toss all in a high speed blender or smoothie maker and blend until smooth.
5pm
PM snack:
3 pink grapefruits. Use a citrus juicer to extract Juice. You can snack on a handful of almonds, peanuts or cashew nuts.
7pm
PM step-down:
2 cups of pineapple, 1 cup of cucumber, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Toss into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
