What you would need:
1. Time – obviously
2. A high speed blender or a smoothie maker
3. A chopping board (optional)
4. Knives (optional)
5. Water
6. Apple cider vinegar (to wash fruits and vegetables. See: ‘30-Day Juice Fast: Day 1- Mind Prep!’ post sent on 28th of Feb. 2013 for veggie washer recipe.)
Fruits and Veggies needed for the day: 4 cups of leafy greens, I medium sized lemon, 4 bananas, 6 oranges, 4 inches of ginger, 2 carrots, ½ a cup of cashew nut, 10 inches of cucumber, 3 cups of mangoes, I avocado pear, I cup of pineapple, 1 table spoon of extra virgin olive oil, 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of wild honey (wild honey is simply honey that is unrefined).
Recipes:
7 am
Warm water with 2 slices of Lemon.
8am and 11am
Smoothie:
2 cups of leafy green (pumpkin leaf, spinach, green leaves would do.), 3 bananas, 3 oranges, 1 inch size ginger.
Use a citrus juicer to get juice from the oranges. Toss the orange juice, the bananas, the ginger and the leafy green into a high speed blender or a smoothie maker. Blend until smooth.
1pm
Carotene heaven twist smoothie:
1 banana, 1 cup of chopped sweet potatoes, I cup of chopped carrots, 1 cup of chopped papaya (paw paw), 2 inches of ginger, and 3 cups of fresh orange juice (juice of about 9 oranges).
Toss all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
3pm
Green Garana Smoothie:
2 cups of leafy green, 5 inches of cucumber, the flesh of 1 avocado pear, 1 cup of peeled & chopped pineapple, and 1 inch of ginger.
Toss all in a high speed blender or smoothie maker and blend until smooth.
5pm
3 oranges, 3 TBSP of lemon and 2 inches of ginger.
Use a citrus juicer to extract the orange juice. Toss the orange juice, lemon juice and ginger into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
7pm
PM step-down:
1 cup of pineapple, 1 cup of cucumber, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
Toss into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.
